Those with experience in Kendo, as well as graduates from the ANU Kendo Club Beginner's Course, are able to join the ANU Kendo Club as a full member. As a full member, you will be able to participate in:
- All club training (subject to bogu requirements).
- Kendo grading, which is nationally and internationally recognised.
- Competitions and events held by the Australian Kendo Renmei.
- Competitions and events held by the International Kendo Federation and affiliated bodies.
Please note that ANU Kendo Club currently only accepts full members that are 17 years old or older. If you are younger than 17 years old, please contact us to see if there is anything we can do for you.
The membership fee covers:
- ANU Kendo Club membership, from 1 July to 30 June the next year, or part thereof.
- ANU Sport membership (ANU students are automatically members of ANU Sport and do not need to pay an extra fee; $120 for Associate Members).
- Membership of the ACT Kendo Renmei and the Australian Kendo Renmei.
- Insurance through both ANU Sport and Australian Kendo Renmei.
